Cancellation Policy

At GA’ Mbindi Legacy Tours Ltd, we understand that travel plans may change due to unexpected circumstances. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our clients and our company while ensuring transparency in all travel arrangements.

1. Cancellation by the Client

If you wish to cancel a confirmed booking, you must notify GA’ Mbindi Legacy Tours Ltd in writing through email, phone, or official communication channels as soon as possible.

Refunds will depend on the time of cancellation before the scheduled travel date.

Cancellation Charges
  • More than 30 days before the travel date
    Clients will receive up to 90% refund of the total payment (administrative fees may apply).

  • 15 – 30 days before the travel date
    Clients may receive 50% refund of the total payment.

  • 7 – 14 days before the travel date
    Clients may receive 25% refund of the total payment.

  • Less than 7 days before the travel date
    No refund will be issued due to prior commitments with hotels, transport providers, and park reservations.

2. No-Show Policy

If a client fails to appear for the tour or travel service without prior cancellation notice, the booking will be treated as a no-show, and no refund will be provided.

3. Changes to Travel Dates

Clients may request to change travel dates depending on availability.

  • Requests made at least 14 days before the tour date may be accommodated with minimal additional charges.

  • Requests made within 14 days of travel may incur additional costs depending on supplier policies.

4. Cancellation by GA’ Mbindi Legacy Tours Ltd

In rare situations, GA’ Mbindi Legacy Tours Ltd may cancel or modify a tour due to circumstances beyond our control, including:

  • Extreme weather conditions

  • Natural disasters

  • Government restrictions

  • Safety concerns

  • Insufficient number of participants

In such cases, clients will be offered one of the following options:

  • Rescheduling the tour for another date

  • Alternative travel arrangements

  • A full refund of payments made to the company

5. Non-Refundable Services

  • Some services may be non-refundable due to third-party supplier policies. These may include:

    • National park permits

    • Gorilla trekking permits

    • Special event bookings

    • Customized accommodation reservations

6. Travel Insurance

  • We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover unexpected events such as trip cancellation, medical emergencies, or travel delays.
